the decision has been set. We have selected Vogel St park in Georgia.

I have already reserved a cabin for myself and Fuzzy.

Please feel free to make your own reservations. they have cabins, tent camping, and RV pull ins.

If you select a cabin and need others to split it with you please post here and pm each other.

The cabins won't be right next to each other but they are close by enough.
We have #27 . please post the cabins you folks reserve so we can mark them on a map of where everyone is at.

Here is the website

Is this going to be a problem?

It wasn't a problem at our campsite. I interpret "Public Use Area" as spots like the pavilion or beach but if we gather at a cabin or campsite that is not for the public, only those paying for it and their guests. At worst similar to Tim's Ford.

It is a family place and we should respect that but we have at all previous gatherings so no problem.

Good choice. Camped there many many years ago. Good location near some great restaurants (like the smith house). European Motorsports is close by as well. They have the aprilia dealer and are most helpful. Last weekend we needed an emergency part for my son's mana and they stayed late to accomodate us for a $11 part. Then I ended up talking with Ian about doing maintenance on mp3s for the next half hour.

Great riding in the area as well. I have it on my calendar!

I just looked at all the cabin availability looks to be about half are taken for the time slot. Don't be waiting too long to get one if you want a single cabin or if you want to split one with some folks.

I also noticed that on the regular campsites you can put 2 tents with 2 vehicles. Just something to consider if you are planning on camping.

I have just booked cottage #22.

It is: Two bedroom cottage. Each bedroom has two double beds. Has one full bath. Bed and bath linens provided. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker. Fireplace (wood not provided) heat/AC. No TV. No phone.

KennyD and I are splitting one of the bedrooms. So I have one bedroom with two beds. Any takers?

Is anyone considering to camp?

Since some of you are from that area, what is the temperature about that time of the year? Sunny or rain?

I just wanna know if I need to think about packing my parka ... if I attend.

Yea, bring it on. Don't even think of leaving big mama behind. I am waiting to eat another bowl of her chili. If everything goes as planned, I will be riding this time.

Yes/No
If I'm solo, riding; if the girls escape school, trailer required. Still don't have the double side cars for the tweens.
