I know long beach blvd has gold chromed ones ( super pimped out), and there are other silver chromed ones about. Can't place the site of this one yet.

Aha, got them both. Never really noticed the fire plug before. But, I'm at the court house every day. So, the city clerks office and planning dept side of Torrance city hall was an easy mark. I just didn't really want to go scoot there. glad I did to see the silver fire plug.

Actually I did make it over to Long Beach Blvd to check it out -- they are painted, not glossy. The chrome is still, IMO, tackier.

I looked at "Beach Market" on Google Maps, street view. As you can see, there is no mural on the left of the door.

Can't always trust goggle maps. Many times the pictures on street view are old. When I look up my house it shows construction next door that took place 2years ago.

Anybody gonna go tag this spot, or should I post a new tag? The game has seemed to be stalled. Paladin was close by on the nationwide tag game with a couple posts, but I guess didn't get far enough west. And I thought I saw Ma Ma Monkey in Redondo today but I think she has been busy. I feel all alone.

I've been busy. I generally go tagging when I am out shopping. I don't shop in the beach cities.
Today I went to the Lomita Railroad Museum. In over 40 years in the So Bay I had never went to it. An interesting place, and now I have to blog it.

Lived in the area decades ago, never went even though I knew it was there. I'd be interested in seeing whether it's worth a visit.
