My engine made a POP sound driving down the road... And now i have very low compresion and bareley turns over. I can SEE the leak.. the Intake manifold sputers out oil n gas when i start it up. How would i fix this? a new gasket or intake manifold? pictures are attached to show leak

You need to open that engine up and see what the piston and cylinder look like.

If you have low compression, the piston and rings are not okay. Fortunately, the parts are pretty cheap. There is no gasket for the intake and a It's a fairly straightforward top end to take off. There are four studs after you get the shroud off. It's easier if you drop the motor, but can be done with the motor in if you remove the cover in front of the engine.
Check the play in the connecting rod before you throw a new top end on.
More than likely, you are looking at a top end, as well as a new manifold. Might as well go for a big bore kit, it's not a lot more than replacing the stock top end with stock parts.

I think, you'd better to give it to a (good) mechanic. This is not a very hard job, but without experiences it is too complicated for you.

If you do need a new piston and cylinder, it's a good time to get a 70cc kit for it.....

Having been told that the original link to a file-sharing site for the huge workshop manual (~750MB) had failed, I've uploaded it again to a Dropbox account, the (split to avoid bots) link to which is here:

I tried to download it, but when I wanted to open, it asked password.

Here's the direct link - does that ask for a password? I didn't put one on.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/fqkdfn7loa907bo/manual.7z?dl=0

You might have to install the free version of Dropbox if it still asks for a password.

I downloaded from dropbox, but when I tried to extract the zip file, that was encrypted. I tried to open with different softwares too.

Ah, if the 7-zip file needs a password, that'll be VespaET2 .

Can someone confirm, as it appears to open immediately for me?

Gas spluttering out of there likely means your reeds are toast. Your rubber manifold is probably fine - but underneath is the reed cage and you will likely find that one failed, allowing the engine's rotation to push fluid back up such that it seeps out at the seam you are pointing to.

If your compression is bad, however, you may need top end work anyway (even if the reed didn't destroy stuff in there when (if?) it failed).

Pass pics along when you get a chance! The good news is the engines are super simple to work on, the bad news is ET2 parts don't grow on trees any more
