Indicators not working, been told that the relay is built into speedo/instrument panel.

Is there a workaround ??

Can i just get a relay and wire to back off indicator switch, don't want an expensive job if i can help it.

Any advice gratefully received.

You can add a separate two-pin indicator relay - the one for the 300 would work fine. Copy the 300 wiring.

Just been looking at the wiring diagrams.

So is it basically a wire from a switched + to the relay

and then from the relay to the common connection on the back of the indicator switch.

???

Thank You, thought it was gonna be a costly dash replacement.

Hardly worth it on a 11 year old scooter.

The turn indicator relay circuit is different than the gts. It has a real relay which of I remember correctly is behind the left knee pad on my 2009. Look at the gtv electrical diagram, not the gts which has the indicator signal originating from the ecu. Wiki has a pointer to Electrical diagram

The GTS300 has a separate relay - and that is what we were referring too. Both the GTS250 AND the GTV250 have the turn signal pulses originating in the dashboard electronics. No need to refer to any GTV diagram.

Sorry, I misread and thought this was about a gtv250 but it's about a gts250. I was moving too far this morning
