So I've only had my Vespa for a couple of weeks - my first scooter - and I don't really have much in the way of a base line or frame of reference. I think it runs pretty well but I think it should run smoother. It has about 3K miles and the original exhaust so I thought I'd replace the exhaust and do a tune up.

After a limited amount of research I landed on ordering the following parts:

Racing Exhaust SIP Road 2.0
Main Air Correction Jet 160
Mixer Tube BE3
Idle Jet 55/160
Jet 102
New air filter

I think I'll warm up the engine and change the oil prior to starting.

I haven't found much guidance on adjusting the carb after I'm done. What is the starting point for the idle adjust and the fuel/air mixture???

Any and all guidance appreciated.

You'll get a lot more interest if you (or a moderator) move this to the not-so-modern section, where we deal with the geared Vespas.

Thanks Ginch. I also discovered that this topic has been pretty extensively covered in the past.
