So I have removed all the panels from LX 50 and I put them in the dishwasher. I am sure that the Mr. would not approve of it. But heck he is out somewhere being a bad boy that he is so he'll never know.[/b]

Well the BMW and Ural dealer both let me know today my bikes are ready for pickup . The BMW was just service so new brake pads and rear tire as well as an oil change. The Ural is a warranty repair though I am paying $200 to get 4-way flashers installed. What sucks on the Ural was the cost of the tow to the dealer as it is not so close. I'll watch the weather and pick a day next week to pick up before the 2 hour ride back.

We're talking USA not Canada's Thanksgiving! We can tend to be a little slow down here in the States!

On the bright side the temps are above freezing. On the downside it looks like I will be needing to use a lot of this.

If you spray it on the roads does it keep the roads dry?

That would fit with the BMW, not the Vespa sidecar...

In other happy news got a cheque from our lawyer today for 33K. Money we had to keep in escrow for a lawsuit. We won the suit so so we got our money back though of course the lawyer will be getting some of that back...

Maybe you can get them to detail it for you too?

That the one out bu the airport? Went to it a couple different times years back when I was active in the CSOC, not sure if they are even still around these days.

Had a big, mean lifted pickup tailgating me for a stretch of surface road in an attempt to intimidate me on the GTS. A few stoplights and some maneuvering later, and he's 5 cars back and visibly fuming that he can't ride my rear wheel anymore. "Meep meep!"
I can't abide bullies.

My wife's narcissistic, controlling supervisor left for a different job out of state a week ago. Things are already going so much better, some of the new people in the department have figured out what was going on and morale has shot up incredibly in a short time. There's a lot of mutual support and energy around that was suppressed for too long.

Nice to see her happy again. I might even start popping by again as it's only a block from my work.

Amazing how much effect one person can have, especially if they are in a position of power.

Regardless of the outcome (because we can't do politics in here) I'm really impressed by the amount of people who voted yesterday.

I got paid today for the first 4 days that I worked at my new job. I was supposed to be paid for them 2 weeks ago.

Also, my PTO totals populated so I now know how much time off I get.

They prorated the time off, since I started 3 months into the year: 4 days each Local and State Personal Time Off, and 8 Vacation days, for a total of 16 days off. The Local and State days roll over with no limit. I'll use 6 of the 8 Vacation days to take the weeks of Christmas and New Years off. I'll still have 10 total days to last me through to the end of July.
