Hi I’m new in the forum and driving a 2015 mp3 500 and a Yourban before that.

I love my 500 but I struggle with one thing: it feels like the motor is running on a too high “gear” when I’m in traffic with a lot of acceleration and breaking. It specifically happens when accelerating around 2600-2900rpm. I have recently installed Dr Pulley 21gr (from original 25gr) but I should have gone lighter, wanted it to be smooth and wanted to avoid a too on-off feel.. got Dr Pulley sliders too. Any tips or similar experiences? I am considering a) a “fuzzy washer” but I don’t know where to buy one, b) a set of lighter (18gr?) rollers and c) a new belt. I noted that my belt had made marks on the inside of the variator cabinet, see picture, I don’t know why.

All input is welcome.

sliders are very different than rollers so when using sliders you should have dropped down in the 17 gram range, some folks even went to 16's.

I had sliders for a while, but switched back to rollers. Wasn't worth it to me. I'm just boring, all-OEM in the drivetrain.

It’s the 500 ABS/ASR.

Hi, which clutch springs did you get and what is your experience from them?
