Hi folks,

I left my MP3 350 2018 model connected to an Optimiser when I traveled. Came home to find it disconnected and the battery flat so, of course, I need to open the seat.
I've searched around but I still haven't found a solution. My ignition key does not push in and rotate anti-clockwise as with some models. Clearly there must be a straightforward way to do this, but I can't find it.

The Optimiser shows 0 volts and 0 amps after three hours, so I need to get to the battery.

Thanks in advance.

Refer to your owner's manual, but the key should open it in the same manner as opening the fuel door flap except you need to turn the key in the other direction

Thanks for the reply. I'm away from my manual and the key doesn't turn anti-clockwise when pushed in.

Try fishing up underneath at the side for the cable. Then give it a tug.

I don't have an MP3 so just guessing here. Is there a lever behind the "glovebox" or leg shield door?

Thanks.
All resolved. I took the junk off the keyring and persevered with pushing and turning.
