Hi, Motorbike started to slow down because of that noise (eventually had to take taxi home). Steering lock is not working at the moment- cant unlock it, lock it. Checked brake fluids - they ok. Checked steering lock switch - cables are connected normally. Motorbike starts but will not move forward, the bike cuts off the power like I didnt sit on a saddle. Problem is Im living in Derby UK and they not really familiar with this make in here. Some kind of sensor triggers that, but dont know where to look.
Just to add, day before I sprayed everything under the motorbike by WD40.
Any suggestions please?

Thanks for your reply,
I puchased that few months ago and dont have idea about when did that take place - not by me.
Would bike stopped because I havent serviced it?
It starts normally, just wont move forward.

Sounds like the seat sensor might be the culprit. Check the connection at the hinged portion of the seat.

Did you try the 'double click' to unlock the suspension with the ignition switched on? That's the 'service mode' so the bike can be revved while on the stand - or ridden if the seat sensor fails.

Hi, thanks for your reply. The suspension is currently unlocked, itís not locking.
How do I go into the double click mode(is it double right)?
Could I ride it back home on that mode. The guys around me are so busy that I have to wait 2 weeks until someone will see me.

So both the steering lock AND the suspension lock are unlocked, and will not lock? I read it as the steering lock was inoperable, but the suspension lock was stuck on (according to the lights).

The 'double click' is two clicks within a second - this *should* unlock the suspension, and allow the engine to rev.

If it doesn't, then there's a mis-communication between the engine ECU and the suspension ECU, and/or a mechanical failure of the locking motor system. Time to start delving into the workshop manuals!

Very good shout ^

Bike is in the Piaggio workshop.

Looks like a tilt problem as the alarm goes on.

Got the repair bill from the shop. Itís electrical problem with tilt lock issue. Bike shop says that because of too much voltage more electrical component could be damaged. They specifically donít know which part is responsible for the fault and gave me estimation of over 1000£ bill for replacing the whole part. Bike is worth around 2000 working. Iím considering selling for parts or not working on eBay.

Bill 180 pounds(200 Euro) for diagnostic only. Apparently one of he wires is faulty Itís going to take them too long to find the faulty one, up to 10 hours of Labour + cost of the part. Motorbike is not fixed, likely will be sold as faulty privately. I have fallen out of love of Piaggio for a whie for sure unless I find an electrician or someone will give me clue what diagnostic equipment I need to find a faulty wire?
Thx for interest and answers.
