Think I've seen something like this but can't remeber where. Sounds like the sort of thing Beedspeed would sell. But if they do, don't buy it from them!

Sip sells the controls. Get some
Mountain bike bars and make a custom gooseneck and you’re set.

What are the chances? I followed a link for something else and these guys have them! In Indonesia but probably the same thing sold by Beedspeed (if that was the place I saw them).

Probably a lot more common on cutdowns.

I tried it, but I didn't really like it and finally swapped for an early smallie headset.

How does a ET handle bar mount? Page 20 of the Post your ET in the Gallery has a cool looking bike with naked bars. Looks similar mounting in one of his pictures?

Thank you all for your suggestions I shall do a bit of research now.
APE the handlebars on the et4 have a standard fitment as they came off a Vespa lxv.

whenever i have made naked bars - i used one of these as the means of holding the bar to the column

then you choose the rest your way...

here's a set of naked ET bars for ya

you could easily use the stock LH side cable actuated pull for the rear and then do whatever on the front (disc or no disc) and use a stock throttle pull with a modified cable or an aftermarket quick throttle. pinch bolt goes thru the front.

hth

(and let me know if you want a pair, i've got a few)
