Damn Scott.
Work is extra clean.
Great inspiration!
As Waldo noted - it comes down a bit to what you are comfy with.
My approach:
Choosing what AC to use kinda dictates the lay of the land.
If it pushed you above 120 MJ - then going down to the next AC size makes sense.
Otherwise you are drilling holes in your carb.
Don't see the need here.
Example: If you have a 160 AC and you need a 125 MJ - better to rejet with a 140 AC to shift your MJ in to the teens.
Since I'm reading the desire to rock it original with the 140AC - and its likely you will maintain something under a 110 MJ with that - seems like it'l work.
Simple rule of course is: see if you can make it splutter/refuse to rev out.
So go grab that 110 or 112 if you got it and slap it in there.
Then start to walk down.
Heart drill could be worth 5-7
Aftermarket pipe - (from the past and less aggressive than todays) another 5-7
So original 94+14 (high end) = 108.
Overshoot that a bit and then walk it in to this:
Reference point: SoCal ran a 140/BE4/118 ish on his Aftermarket cylinder. So it was a little thirstier - but it wasn't all bored out ports and lifted to the sky. Moderate tune.
I'd start with 110 and have a pocket full of 105 to work my way down to.
Keep up all that great looking work.
Gives us something to aspire to.
Racing to dinner - hope this makes some sense.
