It's been over 3 weeks and yes it rained part of last weekend, but anyway here's a hint.

There was a debate recently about renaming this location to Mount Reagan.

I know where it is but really don't have the time to go there. Too much going on in my life right now.

Maybe we could drum up some enthusiasm for Scooter Tag East Bay. I'll be riding in the slow group with my husband (a newbie on my old GTS), otherwise I would make the trip up the mountain before or after the ride.

would love to go, but unfortunately I only found out about this on Monday and am already booked.

So - I thought, Ok - I'll play your silly game, and scooted 30 miles in the hot sun, only to be thwarted at the gate because of a bunch of cyclsts. Road was closed for another four hours.

If no-one else gets to the top before I post another tag, how about using this so we can get the game rolling again. I have actually scooted to the top a couple of years ago and have pics of the view, not the buildings.

The old Ford plant at the end of Harbour Way South. In my neck of the woods, Ford Motor Plant is what the Great Mall of the Bay Area used to be.
Unfortunately, I'm old enough to remember when it still was a Ford plant.

That was quick! I was thinking I would have to put up a clue today but you saved me. I wondered if you might
remember this from your ride around the base when you went there to pick up the commissary tag.

Hubby and I often take the dogs there to romp and I guess we must have passed the church on one of our journeys. I really can't remember it, but my subconcious made me google "Mare Island Chapel" and there it was.
I went to the dealer a few weeks ago to check out helmets (not wanting to buy another just yet) and came home with the midnight blue GTS. Gave the red one to my husband, who would never, ever ride a sissy scooter and now I can't get him to stop.
Hence the two scoots in the pics.

At least someone's still out there. I've been placing flyers on any vespa I see referring them to this thread. No nibbles yet.

That was a different corner- the East Bay Rats corner. The current tag is at a street named for a Cigarette company and a line in the sky above the tunnel. I'll nail it down soon enough
