Hmmm...the one on my 500 pushes down all the way and pops out of the bottom. Which btw I think is a terrible design since everytime I go to put in a fuse I have to hold it up.

Are you modifying the fuse box battery area of just trying to get it out of the way?

ah I used the flat head screwdriver and push it really hard, finally off. I moved the trunk box to left side but not all off because of wires from the front decided not to disconnect the hoses and wires

Glad you got it. Odd it was so hard to move. Mine barely hangs on. Have fun.

The fun part on those fuseblocks is getting them to snap back in and stay there.

I will bump the topic
Does anyone know how to dismantle the fuse box from the right footrest?

I know you have to push it somehow, but I do not want to break it

personally I cut the sides of the holder with a hack saw just down from the top as you are looking at it.then the fuse box comes right out no trouble or possible damage to the wires going into the back.you can then cable tie it to anything afterwards or just leave it free floating.
