Today i went to the Dutch introduction of the Quadro

There was only one model the 3wheeled 350

Its a good looking bike that will standup on his own without locking it

the front suspension is 20× better then the mp3 its also wider 50cm there for it takes bumbs better

the 350 had 22.8 BHP and wil do aboutt 130km /h

I've seen a 350 and it looks terrific, it holds two full face helmets under the seat and indeed it has not the tilt lock feature although the guy said he still didn't have to put his feet down, I don't know how is that done.

What I find scary is that don't know who would take care of it if it breaks, Piaggio parts are easily found (I guess that in a city with 190.000 bikes it makes sense that there are some parts as well) but I don't know about these Quadro guys.

On the other hand I've seen the new X10 and it doesn't look bad at all. Piaggio offers an iphone mount (priced at 123.00€) which makes it look like a spaceship.

I like the front design of the MP3 a lot better. Without a front plastic "shield", the Quadro's suspension and rods are exposed too much, making it look not only naked but like a part has fallen off the scooter.

That red handle looks like the parking brake on American cars of 40 years ago.

Overall I like it for its simpler lighter design of front end tils. The four wheel tilting takes the concept to the next level and should be a blast to ride.

I like the exposed look- most modern bikes have exposed up-side-down front fork anyway. Also it will be easier to clean and lubricate.

I had one of their [AEON] 450 quads, it spent more time in the garage than the road - in the first 12 mths, massive engine probs!

pole, touch and barge spring to mind with this one!
