She's beautiful! You are gonna have a lot of fun getting everything just the way you like. The sheet metal looks to be in great shape & that 'latex' paint job sure fooled me, doesn't look bad at all in the pics.

Congrats, waiting for close ups & ride report when you can.

The paint looks better in the photos. It runs great needs some brake work (what else is new) but all the parts are there. The speedo even works.

I have about 4 projects to get to so for now it's just gonna get gone over and ridden! BUT when I'm caught up and looking for a project....a full proper resto might be in order!

I'm on my second build right now. (ET3) I always say I'm going to diva proper resto, but I'm afraid I'm going to end up with something else.

If I ever get my hands on a 50s or 60s model I'll definitely do it up right.

Original paint under the "latex"...but it doesn't seem to be latex. It will take some time to figure out if I can get it off without garfing up the original. The good part is that the brushed on stuff is tough as snot and stopped any rust. Only body damage is a tweeked floorboard and a bent louver...imagine that

Yeah the ribbon came with it! It was from the Dania show. I missed it because I was out of country.

Man, don't get me "jetted" for another project. That's a cool score. I've had a nut for a vintage Ped, though?

I love these too, like a three way winner: OLD, FAST & STOCK, and both of these in my favorite color. Had a chance to ride a '63 this summer for a couple of days on a trade, while owner used my 50S. Fast enough even stock & a good ride after I tightened up fork stem bearings. He's had many more and has traded up regularly, but decided to always keep this one (now at his summer place), as it was his first Vespa. It was nearly new then and he still has the original keys

Also given a coat of random white paint ~20 years ago including the Vespa logo, which was all too common then.
