I'm hopping on a plane to California tonight to ride the Sports City home but when I get back one of the tasks to be done is clean out the garage. I know I have bits and bobs in there someone could use ranging from chrome fender crash bar to possibly a flyscreen. I'll post them with photos once they are unearthed during the clean-up.

OEM GTS horn AND a louder GTS OEM fit. Can't remember the brand but it's quite a bit louder.

Cupini (sp?) fly screen. horribly scratched. I was going to buff, bond and paint vintage red to match scooter but don't care for the coverage of fly screens. You pay actual shipping due to size.

Thanks for the jacket, Jess. I think I can fix it.... What I'm not sure of is if it will fit. I'll re-offer the jacket in this thread if neither issue works out.

-------------------------

tomjasz: If you want the patch, I can send it to you. Dealing with another messy glue spot won't be a big deal....

---------------------------

I claimed in this thread and PM'ed both as I wasn't sure how to go about the claiming. I don't have any answers to the present process, but it seems a bit awkward for late claimants to have to wait for a thread update or a "sorry, Charlie" PM......

Perhaps allow 1 claimant in the thread? I dunno - just throwing it out there ..... Perhaps editing post #1 of this thread and clearly spell out what claimers should do?

I think the most straightforward solution is just to reply to the person offering (quoting some part of their post) and say "PM Sent". That makes it clear to everyone else that the claimant actually contacted the offering party and strongly suggests to everyone else that it is no longer up for grabs.

By this I think you mean a vintage horn. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

AC or DC? What decade, roughly? In this case a picture would probably be very helpful.

This would be a great place for groups that have rallies and have swag left over to offer it to people who could not attend. I know the Rovers in Detroit are always offering items from previous rallies at there Moter City Shakedowns.

This is great. A new member, Dangolbo, asked for the tire I put up. He is in Chattanooga. OAD is in Daytona right now and he said he would deliver the tire to Dangolbo's workplace on his way back home. I am riding with the tire this Saturday to Daytona. Good karma here. Digging this thread.

Yeah. Actually I have ridden with him a few times in the smokies on all of the cool roads up there. He is a great rider. I learn stuff from him every time we meet up.

Well beyond my skill set, but many of us have learned some maintenance common sense from him over the years. I guess I knew that you had ridden together but forgot. The Dragon?

You mean paint the hardware vintage red? Scratches add character and stickers too. I got VRM's because he is such a fan. I could care less about the Cupini medium screen. I am 6'3" and I usually ride straight up right.

GT starter relay (used; swapped out while troubleshooting, it wasn't the problem)

High vis mesh vest - yellow - L/XL - unopened

Motorcycle cover (made for a cruiser bike but would probably fit a scooter) - silver - unopened

All are already 'dibbed'

This is why this is a 'community'!
