Rear axle spacers and bits from an MP3 250. I am thinking there are other models that use these but I will leave the search up to you. As always they are free and you pay the shipping.

I got these three finger gloves from an MV member and forgive me but I can't remember who. He found them on a liquidation site I think and they were issued to motorcycle police in some eastern block country. Wish I remembered the details. Anyway they are leather and do show their age but still sound. You pay shipping.

Up for grabs in one Teknic Inferno leather jacket. Comes with a removable liner. Size LG. It has been used very little. I did, however cut out the little elastic loops at the ends of the sleeves that were there to hold the liner sleeves in place. It's fairly heavy, so shipping won't be super cheap.

On it's way tomorrow to CyberLizard.

Details at: http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/closeouts/last_chance_bargains/teknic/inferno_leather_motorcycle_jacket.html

Shown without liner.

Because p&p is pretty dear. Actually, I gave away my Tucano leg covers a while ago in the spirit of this thread, but shipping to London was expensive.

I am sure it is but it still may be worth it depending on the object. There sometimes may be other alternatives . I was able to get a tire to a member through the goodwill of another member who was traveling. Granted there was a lot of luck involved but it can happen.

OK, that made me laugh. But on giving it some thought, were you surprised Mrs. Bitsa hadn't shown up to freecycle him, or vice-versa I think likely the former, cause Bitsa strikes me as being very fond of his Lass.

FROG i don't think there was that many people who attended and if they did they got a patch. Curt had a bunch leftover so a few of us got some. Shoot me an address and it's yours.

1961 VBB 1T mostly complete, disassembled
Same sad old story: Spent 6 months on a restoration project, got busy, and two years later my wife is wondering why it's still taking up 1/4 of the garage!

Body condition: light surface rust only. Was rattle-can spray painted red by previous owner -- needs to be stripped and repainted. One hole drilled in leg shield by previous owner to mount a rear-view mirror (arghhh). Original Italian tires, but I bought new white-walls to replace them, you can have the new tires too. I removed all the trim pieces and tossed them, they were pretty messed up. Driver seat intact but needs new cover I would guess. Passenger seat is pretty rotted but you get that too!

Engine condition: original engine's top end was rusted solid!!!! I have a replacement case that I can't guarantee will work. Clutch, gears all look in good shape. [I bought all the parts for a new top end/piston/crank, but I'm not giving that away with this, I'll sell them on the open market since I invested about $500 in parts and they are new and untouched.]

Electrical: it's a mess. You'll have to replace it.

Disposition of parts: I disassembled all the parts and put in plastic baggies, marked.

Instructions: I'll include two books I bought on restoring vintage vespas. And all my notes taken while disassembling.

Tools: Some random specialty tools like the gas tank nut wrench, etc.

There you have it. Take it all as a unit, no piecing out. (I'm only doing this because I love my wife and told her I'd free up the garage space. If it were up to me I'd keep it until I retire -- and THEN give it away )

I'll box it up and you pay shipping, or if you're in NorCal come get it. Please help me save my marriage...

-Dan
