a quick way to tell if its a t5 is the zorst .... ya cant see it on that ..... px zorsts are clamped to the stub n t5s are 2 studs into the the barrel ... n the vin is vnx5t .... have a look at both types of exhaust n youll see it

Digging up the thread! 1985 Italian (French market) T5, with LML carry-all and vented cowls adapted, disc brake fitted, and classic Malossi treatment.

Some of the parts:

Love that ass:

Rebuild done:

Out with buddies:

Didn't like the star-shaped front wheel from the start, so replaced with this:

Oh, and proof of authenticity:

In the toolbox, in the guise of a can of "Fix-a-flat". It appeared I more often needed storage space than an extra tire. When I go on longer trips than just the usual zipping around town, I throw in a spare tube. It will take longer to get back on the road if a flat occurs, but not so much that I'd ever regret having that much storage.... (haven't had an actual flat in years).

Is it a T5? Looks to me like a PX with a T5 front guard. Or is a Millenium a different version? Still very nice either way. Gone to all that effort now get some better shocks.

Millennium is basically a T5 Classic with a front disc brake ,Only ever made 400 between 1999 - 2000 ...
Pulls like a train up to 65+ mph standard ,and has the brakes to stop it on a sixpence

I hope bitza's scoots went to a good home. I do miss his posts and his Yorkshire dialect which came through in the way he wrote.
