these new floorboards are quite sturdy. Shipping is 11lbs for the package. Each set will come with new tapered stainless screws. Just remove old screws and install new floorboards straight over top your existing oem ones. hand start ALL the screws by hand, then tighten. alternate tightening them.
Now for the bad news I forgot the fab shop change their cash policy and now everything is taxed coming out. so I need to bump the cost up by $5 each. this is not all the tax as it will cover most of it though. Now the good. I will be sending out pm's to folks tonight and tommorrow letting each know what their shipping is . folks out west are a bit higher than east coasters. Please let me know if you want the additional insurance for $3.30 on you package. Some folks will have a choice of slow mail or priority (west coasters) Most everyone else is standard priority. All packages will have a tracking number. I will let everyone know their tracking number. Packages will ship ASAP after final payment received. Any questions or concerns please let me know. Thank you all for you patience . |

Installed mine today. Very sturdy and I love the leg position in the bottom hole. Very well done OAD.
A few things. Be careful how much you torque the front screws. I was a bit cavalier on the right side and went one turn too many. Stripped the head. Also, these do block the access panels so be sure to include a flat head screwdriver in your kit to pry the door past if needed. Very happy with the finished product. Looking good.
That is about as far as you want to go when tightening the front screw.
In the lowest peg slot my legs are more extended and I even have more room for my high tech beverage holder.

Put them through their paces today. I put my pegs in the bottom holes. If you choose this just know you will scrape earlier than you did with the UFPs. No big deal really but if you are not aware of this rubbing don't freak out. For long distance riding the bottom peg placement is great. I would move it up for twisty mountains.

Received
Received today with a massive thank you to OAD for making this happen. Brilliant quality product and so looking forward to install.
Few things to do first, make a cut on the right board to accommodate the European version LT foot brake. Then will spray it with a black rubber paint and then install the lovely Kuryakyn footpegs. OAD - should I sand it first before spraying black rubber paint? Thank you once again for delivering this project for us interested. |

someone ask me if I could stand on them when they are installed.
Well I went out to the barn and told myself what the heck. I stood up on them both feet and bounced up and down some (kinda awkward to do) they seem very stable. a tad bit of tongue flex but that is to be expected with 200 lbs bouncing up and down. Also when sitting I pushed hard with both feet and minimal flexing. |

If anybody is on the fence on a set there are a few sets left. The MV price is $150 plus shipping. I might list them on fleabay but the pricing will be much more to cover the extra costs there.
If you need to work out other terms send me a pm. |

Brackets look good OAD. Would love to see a set up close. Got any trips to GA in the near future?
I need to get back to Knoxville actually. Made an impromptu trip last year after I ended up on the wrong side of Blue Ridge lol. Nice ride tho. |

Finally - took mine out to commute after the floor board and peg install. I first had to cut the right board to fit European LT foot brake. Increase the diameter of all 6 holes for the pegs. Then tried black plastic paint called Plastidip, no joy. Took it off and painted it using black metal paint. Installed Kuryakyn pegs.
What a difference in ride. It feels that's how it should have been from stock. Pegs are in middle hole. Tried leaning as much as I normally do and no scrapping, ride was so much more enjoyable, stress free. Can't thank OAD enough. For me, this may well be the best money spent for MP3. After this Pulley/fuzzy then Motoport stretch kevlar, Shad seat and then Givi airflow. |

Heeeeeellllllp
Hey guys, I hate to sound like such a Noob, but "I yam what I yam". I recently purchased one of these OAD peg mounts and I notice the 3 holes for the pegs. Which I assume a "male" end should connect to a peg of choice. However all the pegs I found online to order look like "female" ends. So are adapters required for all foot pegs(like in the picture attached)? Or are these foot pegs online all advertised with invisible bolts that I am to assume come packaged with the pegs to attach them to the mounts?

So are adapters required for all foot pegs(like in the picture attached)? Or are these foot pegs online all advertised with invisible bolts that I am to assume come packaged with the pegs to attach them to the mounts? 1) Those pegs actually have a bolt going through the base of the peg and into the end pictured. (At least, that's been my experience with pegs purchased online with ends like that, and that picture sure looks like those ends have bolt holes at the bottom...) When they arrive, you can just take off the end piece and bolt them directly to your peg mounts. They won't fold, though. 2) You can also purchase a clevis adapter to mount to your peg brackets so that they still fold up. If you take option 1, you have no protection if the pegs scrape. It won't fold up and absorb any force. All the force will be transferred directly to the bracket and will either bend the bracket or be passed into the floorboard frame. If you're using short pegs in the topmost hole, you could probably get away with option 1. I still wouldn't recommend it, though, as the potential costs of being wrong in this case are just too high... Just check this link out for some footpeg clevis adapters: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=footpeg+clevis Mark |

I have started a stand-by list on the first post. this will also serve as a total count for those interested in a 2nd round batch. I need at least 15 hard commitments to order a 2nd go around.
