Do have a scooter you ride off road?
Maybe even set up for dirt riding?
I'd love to see some pictures and video.

Here's me on my little 50S
Sorry no music & crap McGyver camera mount

Matty, I love riding through the woods. I used to have a trials bike, '72 TY250 and could leave my buddies on Enduros and Elsinores behind. Revenge for being left behind on the logging roads.

Have to come up thru here standing on the floorboard, like riding the pegs.

This particular bike is accustomed to the dirt & rock roads on just ordinary scooter tires, all that's available at the island's local motorcycle/scooter/small farm equipment repair shop. I think something from Taiwan. My nephew got it nearly new ~30 years ago and delivered mail on it for ~15 years, much of it over roads like in the video.

In recent years they paved a lot of the secondary roads, so the pavement is newish and fast. Great for cruising and rubbernecking instead of gluing your eyes on the biggest rocks in the road in front of you. Just take it easy over fresh goat poo.

You should see the farm-raid raffle bike from last year. It's ridiculous and I want it.

My first years riding a vbc were on a farm, chasing my friends on farm bikes.

I can't find it, but I asked the same question a while back especially after I went to the Hell On Wheels vintage moto cross rally. There was a goofy TNG out on the race track with the motos. I could only find non airborne pics, but the guy was going off the same jumps and getting 2-3 feet of air at times. I kinda wanted to build my P into an enduro-like bike, but instead, I just got the enduro.

On the course with the same guys during the same race.

@ ebeth, I think you guys invented dirt bike Vespas and only discovered the wonders of pavement recently

@ music, very nice and some very dicey mudpatches in there. Street tires?

My next off road Vespa will be red, like my first, but w/ electric start and on 8s in back, sporting this tire.

from my files

Rumor has it Chuck Norris(pictured here) rode all the way to Hell wearing welders gloves & goggles for the heat
plus his lumberjack boots and his old high school jockstrap & football helmet to protect his human parts.
He roosted* the Devil, then rode all the way back performing a one handed wheelie, waving to his cheering fans.

Just looks so enticing, what a pleasant afternoon!

Yeah, was wondering about that. It's an old farm bike & maybe they bodged some kinda reverse gear and used it to pull the plow backwards!

Yes, it's my '66. A friend and I were riding some trails and corn fields at a rally and I suddenly buried in mud. It was all hard packed dirt except for that one spot. I stopped so quick I hit the headset and almost flew over.

It was a great time, but cleaning sticky gumbo mud out of an SX front disc brake wasn't so great.

Here are some great 60's pics of off road shit and otherwise. Coming to you from the Speed Kills archives. These are seriously some of my favorite scooter pics ever. I feel guilty for sharing them on here.

You guys are all sensitive and shit. Maybe you do need to have that threesome you keep talking about and blow off some steam. Or put on those knobbies and fling some dirt on those engine cases.

BTW I gave you thumbs up on the comments directed at me.

There was a team of Lambrettas in the 1960 and or '61 International Six Days Trial on specially modified bikes. Some cool pics on Google: https://www.google.com/search?q=lambretta+isdt

"Alan Kimber" seems to be the brain behind it. I think there is some info on the Lambretta Club website as well.
