hey everybody,
I've been in the middle of my way home when i noticed that i need to fill the tank of oil! unfortunately i didn't ind 2T oil but i found 4T and since then the scooter became weird and running so slow! can this be from the oil?? and what should i do then that it will run again properly? would it be ok if i add the correct oil to the wrong one as i didn't fill it fully!
thanks in advance

Completely drain the oil tank and replace the improper oil with 2T oil. NOW!

for what its worth, SAE 30 was a common two stroke oil for years, so just because you put in 4t dosent mean you did engine damage, however you did the right thing as recommended by aviator, drain it out and put in the correct oil

If he were premixing, it probably wouln't be as big an issue. However, putting higher viscosity engine oil in an auto lube system is very risky, as flow rate can be seriously reduced.

Aloha and welcome to the forum from Hawaii. MAHER Tunisia is on my list of places to visit. Will get there someday. I'm at 130+ countries so far. Good luck with your oil. Post some pics of your scooter if you have time. Never seen a Peugeot one.

Peugeot scooters are very familiar within Europe and North Africa, mine is a small thing that is city scooter called Peugeot zenith it's very handy for using to go to work during the rush hours as i leave in the capital so you can imagine the traffic and how long you'll spend to reach your destination by car!

here is a link for a pick from it's type:
