My 2006 GTS (250) has a problem with the ignition switch.
In the "on" position I can "wiggle" the key a little bit during which the power circuit will disengage.
So in other words, when I put in the key and turn it clock wise to the on position I can move it like few degrees further on which the power goes "out".
A few degrees before the "on" position there is also no power (that's the way it supposed to be of course)
But on my Vespa this result in he following:
When I turn the key in on there is no power, I then have to wiggle the key a little bit, turn it a few degrees past "on" then back and forth to finally have "ignition".

Any one in here knows of this problem..?? and better yet a solution..??
Is this the mechanical part of the lock or the electric switch on the back of the lock..??
I don't mind getting a new part but I rather have a clue up front to which one is the suspect..??

It's the switch on the back. Cheap and easy replacement. Easiest to get at via the horncast and it also helps if you remove the headlamp cowling.

Thanks for your note, but I did order at easyparts.nl
The switch was like 18euro's and I needed some more parts anyway.
Brakepads (malossi sinter), small horncast logo thing and a exhaust bush.
All togheter it was 60 something euro and they have free shipping with 50euro + orders

Got the switch delivered early this week and changed out the old one.
Thanks for the hint in this topic, that was the problem, its just fine now and it works again like it should be.

Good thing to be honest, on my last ride it started to cut out during driving if I had my key in the wrong way round.
Making the key chain and stuff hang on the wrong side making the key turn just a tiny bit and with that cut the power.

So thanks for the advice..!!!
