The San Francisco Scooter Girls invite you to join us in sharpening our scooter riding skills on curvy roads (along with some motorcycle riding, too) with Doc Wong!
Sunday March 16, 9am-1pm
1021 Alameda De Las Pulgas, Belmont
Those of you wanting to ride south in a group, meet us at the SF Scooter Center at 127 10th St. in San Francisco. We'll leave promptly at 8am.
Free!
Doc Wong will share techniques to enhance our riding skills. This clinic will consist of a class followed by a group ride applying the principles of this topic. We will safely negotiate the twisty roads in small groups.
Please attend if you'd like to increase your skill level, and become more confident riding curves.
Please be gassed up upon arrival, and ready for a ride after the seminar. You can ride at a slow pace; you don't need to feel like you have to keep up with the riders in front of you. Experienced riders will be in the lead, and at the rear.
The ride will be at a moderate pace, and the speed is held down on the straight-a-ways to allow slower riders to catch up. We stop at any intersection where we're turning off to another road, and we don't continue until everyone has arrived. We'll try to make rest stops long enough so that the slower riders will get a rest, too.
Increase your enjoyment while riding beautiful mountain roads.
The San Francisco Scooter Girls believe in safe, and responsible riding. So join us, educate yourself, and bring a friend!
