Here's my just re painted Rosso Scuderia Vespa LX 50
Pics are not the best quality and the colour doesn't see really as it is.
All the chrome has been blacked out, custom made seat...
Will be posting more pics when ever I can be able to have a good camera
Here's ISO with new $80 top case. ScooterWest's item listing says "comes with all the hardware you'll need for installing this on most Vespa or Piaggio with a RACK (rack not included)." In reality the Italian Instuctions indicate the hardware is a direct-fit for the Fly models. There's a plastic piece that looks like a drawer pull, and a tang on the front of the case that slips into that handle. No direct-mount to the ET series' rear rack, but I fabbed up a couple of flat brackets to screw in from the top, and with the box in position I used a small bit and drilled through the plastic box via the existing rack cover plate's bolt hole so an M6 bolt and flat washer could engage the rack's existing threads. I'm still ambivalent about the looks and so didn't want to make any irreversible changes to ISO in case I decided to remove it. I'll post pics when I can.
Just went through this topic and couldn't find any pictures of my 250, so here goes. Picture taken in 2011. The scooter was replaced by a 2015 blue GTS300.
ISO back attain with rakishly raked Cuppini Wind-a Screenie, modified brackets so as not to look any Nerdier than necessary. Right Vespa badge, "Bubble-Butt" (Ms. Wheel-person's description) rack case, and muffler heat shield are new, along with tail lamp. Paint touch-ups are ongoing. And it's RED!!
