Yes. The bike is with the dealer at the moment, due for collection tomorrow.

I've not ridden it yet. However summer is on the way.

What's the theme you chose for your 946?
Are those guys Hitler on the left and Rommel on the right?

My 946 with dead battery. Need to charge it so it can have the mandatory recall done today. It has taken me a long time to get it fixed.

It calls Rest-Pak by SX. I bought it years ago from Scooterwest.com As far as I know they don't have it anymore.

I think this page is short of many pictures. Where are the 2014 and 2015 models?

Amazing 946
When I did see this type the first time it was like love at sight. Though have to wait till ill return to my home country due to availability over here. Till then I look with envy eyes to the owners.

Thanks. Martin. I like the look of either but do slightly prefer the Bellissima's seat and color.

Converted the turn signals and installed a Remus exhaust today. (Excuse to post new pics.) Very happy with the looks and sound.

Lovely, just lovely. Every time I see one of these Euro signal conversions, I wonder how hard it is to install. Tell us more?

Thanks DR -- not a difficult install, just a bit of time carefully removing the bodywork. Only need to grab the positive turn-signal wire from each front and tap each of those into the extra wire found on the Euro versions. For the rears, it's just a matter of putting the OEM connectors on the new indicators, as the wires are the same. Then, just swap the OEM relay for a non-load-dependent solid state relay with the same two posts. Got mine for about $10 from superbrightleds.com. No rewire of the relay is necessary. The most difficult part is removing and reinstalling the upper-leg shield, which just needs a bit of careful persuading. Once that's off, removal of the spoilers, battery cover and footrest is straightforward, as is the rest of the install.

Feel free to PM me for more specifics, if you decide to do the conversion. Ed Cook at AF1 is a good source for the indicators and has them in stock. SIP also sells them and is a bit cheaper on price, but getting something wrong from Germany can be a pain, and I'm not sure when they will have complete sets.

I didn't particularly mind the DOT signals--never felt they were the "abomination" some might claim them to be--but there is no doubt that the integrated Euro/ROTW versions look better and are more suited to the sleek design of the 946.

I did a Euro conversion on my old LX many years ago, and I thought it was quite fun. Once you have the confidence and experience of having taken the scooter that far apart, I feel that it opens up other opportunities in terms of cleaning, mods, etc., as you're less timid about rolling your sleeves up and getting in there, so to speak. I might do the Euro conversion on my 946 eventually...will just have to see.

I think from a safety standpoint, I'd like to install some sort of rapid-fire flasher for the brake light first. The CHP and local PD have them here on their motorcycles. It only strobes the brake for 2 or 3, very short and very fast, bursts before staying solid, but I always am amazed by how much it grabs my attention when I'm behind one in traffic. With the low position of the 946 taillight, I'd like the same benefit for myself - especially if removing the blinkers and replacing them with parts less-likely to help me be seen when turning.

Oddly enough, I already have one of those brake flasher units. I was going to install it on my GTV, but decided that the Admore light kit for the top case would be better.
