Welcome Ottooo. Thanks for the awesome pictures . Do you have any idea who owns the white ET in the 2nd to last photo with the "ET" on the legshield and British flag on the rear ? Looks like they have the LX or GT mirrors on it too.

Ottooo,

Thanks for the great pictures . I've been trying to get those mirrors on my ET. I ordered them from S.I.P. Scooter Shop with an adapter. I hope they fit. Where do you get your graphics and tires ? Great job Felly ! Keep the pictures coming .

TFauch, i hope your mirrors will fit your ET without any problem...some of my friends also got their LX mirrors from sip-scooter & no compalint heard at all....
For the graphics...well we got a designated paint shop specialising in custom colouring ET & also do airbrush...
And about the tires? do you mean the white thing around the rim...?
Well we can get that in the vespa shop everywhere in Jakarta...it's allready been locally made...& it's verry cheap

Ottooo,

I'm just blown away with "Banzai ET" and the helmet that goes with it. Some of the best scoots I've ever seen. How many members in your club ?

Those are some of the hottest modern customs I've seen. Some of those "mural" kind of things, are they paint, or vinyl? I'd love to know somebody who does vinyl like that. Very well designed schemes. I love that flat grey one too.

Agreed. Oh to have had $1200 to buy a really sweet Paul Smith suit when I was in Houston this summer.

If I had a Vespa to do up all wild, I'd do a Takashi Murakami Louis Vuitton pattern on it.

Stunning display of scooters WOW

Give us a little more detail on the "White thing around the wheels". Are they part of the tire or rim. How are they attached and what do you mean by "Cheap".

Do scooter shops in Jakarta have websites?

PS More Pictures!!!

JerryG,

I found these 2 sites Piaggio Asia Pacific and Piaggio Indonnesia but did not see those wheel covers. If they made them available I'd be up for some.

yess...side wall, thats what i mean w/ "white thing around the rim"

JerryG

here in Jakarta there's a cheap way to get that white wall tire look without having to buy with the whole tires like in scooterwest.com
the sidewall is made from a thin round white rubber...to attach it its very simple...just deflate the tires...slip it in...then fill the tires again w/ air...

cheap huh...dont have to spend $100+ to buy a set of white wall tires

Ottoo is right. Those are not the real white side wall tires. They are called 'tire inserts.' It should be readily available in the US and Europe. It is widely used by vintage scoot riders. It shouldn't cost you more than $20 / pair if you buy it there. Hope i was able to help.

I've never seen anything like those. Those are great!!! Mine gets a lot of attention mainly because it is probably the only Vespa in a 150 mile radius.

It might be me but I can only see some vaguely strange photos here apart from the two ET4s.

Naked cleaning. That's one way of ensuring the domestics don't steal the family silver

C'est la vie

Umm yeah ... those are NOT the images that were there when this thread was started. They are linked so maybe the file names are being used again for something else and that linked them here.

Maybe one of the mods can clean this up.

It's always fun to revisit the old threads.

Why are the ET Indonesian Club members all armed to the gills? And I don't know who airbrushed the paint job on the "Banzai ET", but he has some talent. You can "barely" tell it's a scooter.

My wife just walked in and told me I have to "hang up" the computer

Sorry about that folks, I've removed the offending picture links. Looks like either the owner of the site where the images were hosted didn't like us linking to them, or the filenames got reused for some reason.

All cleaned up now.

There were some bizzare photographs replacing those HOT scooter pics that were in this thread. They were not work friendly and some ... just not friendly .

So Jess cleaned them up.
