I'm tackling some much needed maintenance on my 2005 BV200. I replaced the belt, rollers, guide, o-ring, and have a new variator nut to install. One question before I button it up is the aligning of the part of the variator that has teeth with the outer variator face. The part with the teeth has two arrows and the manual states to line it up with the starter bendix? Is that correct? I'm not sure which arrow to use and what to actually line it up to. The pic in my manual is useless. Anyone have a better picture? I did a search here first but was unable to find an answer. With over 24,000 miles everything really looks in good condition in there. Minimal dirt, no grooves on the variator faces or clutch bell. Two rollers where in backwards from when the dealer did the last belt 12,000 miles ago. I don't think they used a new nut or o-ring AND the clutch and variator nuts where both not too tight. Maybe 30lbs of pressure at the most. They came off REALLY easily. Any help with the alignment is appreciated.
