This film got a lot of bad reviews. However, I really enjoyed the marvelous art direction and lots of scooter footage. It's got a lot of great elements for scooter fans including Philip Daniels (Chalky) from Quadrophenia, classic scooters and a lot of mod references.

I thought it was very well made and an excellent cast with stellar performances. In all, it was a decent film with scooters featured prominently in most of the movie and definitely worth a watch. It's currently on Netflix. If you don't care for the film, jump to around 50 minutes in for good scooter pr0n.

I agree that the film is well shot and the Vespa scenes are cool but otherwise found it quite boring. The original is a much better movie.

I'm in it! Although there isn't any footage of my Vespa because it didn't have any lights and mirrors on it!

It was quite funny how the "researchers" included modded up PXs in the footage but left out some of the best and more factually correct scooters...and yes, I'm still bitter!

so's the version with Richard Attenborough... though no scooters in that one. I knew the story was familiar when I watched it this morning.
