What's up guys,
Here is my latest project in the works. It's a piaggio typhoon converted to 13" wheels, malossi c-one engine case, and roost havoc 98cc kit. Unfortunately, my cylinder was damaged in shipping, one of the fingers at rear near boost port was broken. Already have a fresh one on the way, those guys at roost are awesome! Not going into to much explanation, but the pictures should say the rest! Btw oversize cranks still need cases bored out, but the cylinder remarkably drops right in

It should be an interesting ride when it's all together.
gonna be a screamer for sure! Hopefully it'll put out close to 30 at the rear.

Well I got lazy, and did not document the build but I did finish the bike. I only ran into 3 issues when converting to the full C-one setup;

-The malossi gear box cover requires all new gears, which was a drag. It was advertised as compatible with stock gears/ratios. That's not true at all. Not the end of the world, as I was planning on up-gearing anyhow

-The newer "furia rosa" over-range rear pulley had clearance issues with malossi gearbox cover. I was a bit disappointed as malossi recommends this over-range in conjunction with all their other trick ass transmission parts. Nothing a little sanding disc action couldnít solve, definitely not ideal though.

I almost want to say that Malossi is aware this is an issue, and is now machining the backside of the pulley like this:

-Last, the c-one engine case has provisions for a true full bearing gearbox set-up. The issue is the bearing that supports the input/clutch shaft on the engine case side. It's just not included with the C-one case kit at all. Neither malossi nor sip acknowledged this.
Its a standard size needle bearing 12x18x12, plops in no problem.

As you can see itís not even listed as a spare part:

Other than that things went together pretty easily.

Mounting a radiator was actually not so bad. I found a good oversize l/h radiator for a Kx450f on ebay, and made some brackets from left over scrap at the shop. I'm using the malossi electric pump, this keeps running temps near 120*-135*f for the most part.

I'm also using a trail tech striker dash for voltage and temp readings. It was very easy to install. This unit is pretty dang good for the price

A'll said and done, this set-up is close to $2500

The pics are kind of ass, Iíll take some better ones in the near future
