That looks awesome! Please post details on where this came from. And I'm really digging the rack on the floor... what is it?

Floor racks and floor plates are available from Classic Racks, but I am really liking that solo seat.

That's kick ass! I'm really liking that set up. Was that a completely custom seat pan?

Looks like a carbon fiber seat pan, doesn't it?

Need to Know
I too want to know exactly what that seat is.

Is it perhaps a GTV seat, with the pillion removed and rack mounted there instead?

it is very sharp. and would look very good on my Tethys.

Yes. The seat itself is from the GTV Montenapoleone:

The only question would be, is it the OEM seat pan with a carbon fiber-look decal wrap, or is it a newly manufactured part.

I looked up the name of the company shown on the "tag" on the seat pan. Nearest I can tell, its a full on design house, so not sure if they actually manufacture them, of if someone else does or what.

But...*lust*

I think the rear rack is also the standard curved rear rack by classic racks. Just placed higher up and into the former pillion space.

temptation.

Scooterwest has some of those seats left. on clearance even.

strong temptation.

Hi,
There's more to see and read about this epic Vespa at www.vespaforum.de/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=33193

Unfortunately at the moment I've got no time to translate for you guys, sorry for that. But at least this I can reveal: the seat pan is the original gtv part, just like user Karmann suggested, only heavily modified and painted in carbonfibre style paint. And the rack is custom made.

Hope this helps a bit!

Bye!

I think the mirrors are from SIP, in black and chrome...

Glad to be of help!

@Budz: I didn't know this function yet, wow - how convenient! Live and learn! Thanks!

Judging from the scooter's Austrian registration plate I took a look at the Austrian Vespa forum. And here we are: There's a thread with more of this cool project, just at an earlier stage:

Have fun!

It's quite hard to customise the modern Vespa and give it that WOW factor, but this has nailed it

Mine ... :D
Hi everybody!

First of all sorry for my bad English!

I am new here on Modern Vespa . com but I have seen you have discussed about my Vespa.

Thanks for your compliments!!!!!!

You are right! The seat is from an GTV then you have to close the holes from the lock and from the handl. The Carbon look is an Water Transfer Printing.

The rack is designed completely new. It was my idea I produced about 4 prototype in plastic bevor someone made it for me in iron.

I am very proud in this project!

This are the latest photos from my Vespa. I did some details more in Water Transfer Printing.

Greetings

Dieter

Seat looks great, any chance it would go on a GT200. Wondering if the silver back box mount is removable on the GT.

@ ianGT200:

I am shure that the GTV seat also fits on your GT200!!

I hope I understand right: On my project you can not remove the rack and put the rearseat on. Because in case to look better I close some holes wich you need for the right fitting of the seat.

But I have a second seat when my love will drive with me.

I hope you understand my worse English!!
