I love my MP3/250, also use going back and forth to work.
I only use the MP3/500 ABS for Long Rides. My prediction, many MP3/500 owners will pick up a MP3/250 as a commuter when the opportunity presents itself. Very economical MPG, all the engine parts are similar to GTS/GTV and other 250cc bikes. I just added the Piaggio Gel Seat, and with the Mini Cooper Tire on the rear, it is very comfortable ride. Never seen your chrome front bumper and top case mount before over here on your other MP3. A UK design?

Finally got around to opening up and having a look-see in the engine and the rest of the bike. Bad move Discs (rotors), brake pads, rollers, belt, etc all need replacing. This little nine year old is going to feel brand new by the time I'm finished with it. 8)
