Long time reader...first post.

My wife has commuted on this scooter since 2005. We decided to take it with us on an adventure. 3 days, 2 nights in West Virginia. We hauled the scoot on a rack behind our camper van from NC to WV. Once we got there we did road trips and visited 7 covered bridges with a lot of other sight seeing in between. We're already planning the next trip.

Many miles of 2-up riding on some fantastic curvy back roads. We had a fantastic time.

Oh, wow -- beautiful pics in that flickr file. Even my wife was impressed, and that's going some!

That camper is my dream escape pod, and the GT200 on the back makes that dream just too dang sweet.

...looks like European or Brit plates on it...did you guys tour with it over there at some point?

Really, really nice stuff. You've been holding out!

tdrake - Thanks for the compliments on the photos. Never been to Europe with the Van. I just liked the European look so I put that plate on the front. Front plates are not required in NC. It's an '05 Sprinter Westfalia. Airstream imported a few of them. We've had it since it was new. It's a pretty amazing vehicle.

Here is an album of ranom pictures of the VAN in use:

Wow, y'all are serious motorheads! Good stuff.

Nice to see the diesel can tow as well as stow -- the perfect setup!

Are all the pics from VA and WVA? The pic below the one of you camping by the river, that has the train station with the main st sign looks like New England. Fun pics and brought back cool memories. Live in Richmond and C'Ville for about 9yrs back in the 70's and 80's.

Yeah, mostly West Virginia. The Main St picture was in Philippi. Camping by the river was at the Audra St Park. You could sit on the rocks in the river and the current would wash over you. It was an amazing place, and great place to camp.
