This is inspired by tdrake's 'just five miles out of town' thread, and is really just an excuse to get people to post more pictures on here.

Post your pictures around town, just out of town, etc if you live in the Portland, OR area, or happen to be traveling through.

Nice photos! Love your use of light.

Some day, back to Portland.

It'll probably rain again.

Yeah, keep 'em coming!

Taking local pics of my Vespa this year has really enriched my appreciation for where I live...even on days I don't take or post a good shot, the act makes me attend to the beauty of my surroundings, which is something most of us don't do enough, imho.

And I just love scrolling thru everyone else's pics -- it's another, similar, way to enter into the world instead of feeling office bound.

Headed to P-town for family Thanksgiving this year, btw, so expect sheets of rain that week. Also hoping to hook up with an old high school friend who, coincidentally, restored my P200 after I wrecked it in 1982.

My Vespa was a prop in a photoshoot this weekend in Couch Park. This was in-between model clothing changes. 8am, Saturday.

Went downtown to see what the protesters were up to. Aside from a few police cars blocking access to a street, and a helicopter buzzing overhead, it was as if a protest wasn't happening at all. Elsewhere downtown, Range Rovers piled out of a garage after a show at The Schnitzer Theater let out, bars were full, and people were walking around like any other Friday night. Bright neon signs next to unlit scooters don't cooporate so well with an iPhone. Such is life.

Yesterday's views cruise. Taken facing west at a school overlooking I-5. Fremont Bridge in the background.

Hello fellow PDXer. Are you active with the Portland Scooter Social Club or the Oregon Scooter Club?

I've never ridden with Oregon Scooter Club and I've gone on one PSSC ride. Mostly I just ride to tacos!
