Couldn't take the solo seat anymore. Had a spare PX seat. Got to find the locking post to pull it down in the back.

I don't blame you, the solo seat on my old Super bounced me around way to much even after I tightened it up to the max. Not good for this child that has had two back operations. The bench seat allowed me to move around and stretch some. Much better ride.

Pancho, you know how much we dig your Super... it's a beauty... but that seat... (trying to be diplomatic here) ... aw hell, it just ain't right!
SIP sells a decent Sprint/Super bench seat that doesn't cost a bundle. We've got one on the yellow scoot. Nice and comfy... and IMO would look much nicer on that beautiful original scoot of yours. Ok I'll shut up. |

I completely agree, but that's what I had on hand. Its just been leaning up in the corner for a few years and I couldn't take it anymore. May try the look of a P series BBQ rack and the VLB bench, but I think a small frame seat would look a little better.

Yep, those Corsa seats look good. And if you have money to burn these are nice:

Vader?[/quote] My fav seat.. I've got one on my Super, v90 (exact same seat as the super but I customized it and made it a "cutback") and I've got the small frame version on my 50s. In short, I (EYE) think they're worth the money.. damn good looking and comfortable at the same time! |

All the same seat (the one on the 50s is the actual small frame version).. the one on the Super is the one in the link, as is the one on the v90 (just modified)
I've got the lambretta version on my skelly (pretty much same seat.. just Lambretta version) edit: if you don't like to sit kind of far back, then you'd be better off w/ the less expensive Super Corsa seat someone posted above... they're good too.. less money and actually softer than the Ancillotti but not quite as low profile.. http://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/sport+seat+corsa+for+vespa+_75905000 http://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/adaptor+plate+seat+corsa+_75902100 http://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/sport+seat+corsa+for+vespa+_759012j0 |

Thanks, Vader...
Something about the corsa just doesn't have the same look, though... That ancillotti seat, there's just something about it... You also had a streamline seat at one point as well? How did that compare to the ancillotti? As comfort goes, could you do 100+ miles on them? |

100+ miles on the Ancilotti is no problem.. not like "King&Queen" comfy, but not bad.. even w/ very little "padding" on my own seat... err butt.
