Nothing better than a 250 mile ride to start 2017. My buddy Walt and said letís ride up and meet Bill (WLethold) for breakfast. Sure. Walt, being a native of FLA, took me to a couple of places I have never been on the gulf.

It was a great ride.

After all these years I finally get to be in Walt's rear view mirror.

The problem with Walt leading is he kept parking us behind these noisy damn Harely's

Never seen a small on with training wheels. That is probably my old man bike.

I'm still refusing to acknowledge this post due to current weather conditions.

We're actually in the teens to lower twenties, so I should quit my whining...but probably won't. Just some unadulterated jealousy on my end. Enjoy it for us!

Tdrake Winter is tough
Good fortune to those great lucky folks in Florida. Maybe
they will sit on a pile of fire ants. I take that back - thanks
for the great ride photos.

-8 degrees in Minnesota today. I did not pull the batteries
out of my two scooters yet. I ran and warmed them up to
operating temperature today. It was 20 degrees in my
garage.

Bill Leuthold
I had the opportunity to ride with Bill on Wisconscoot 2015.
This guy is the energizer bunny - he is everywhere on two
wheels. Italy, Cross Country Race, and most things happening
in Florida.

Bill, you are a Vespa Hero. In scooter hibernation in
Minnesota. A least we have no Fire Ants.

I caved and finally pulled my battery just yesterday. It took about a month for me to finally interpret the two feet of snow against the garage door as a "sign".

Meanwhile, that demon Facebook greets me each morning with "here's a picture from this day last year, in Guatemala" and "here's a picture from two/three years ago in Hawaii".

Which is, of course, further reason to both not complain and still feel worse.
