my mechanic told that they are non-separable
also i didn't find oil seals or repair kit for these

has anyone info about how to repair them or it's impossible?

they are separatable (i will later write how to separate)
now the question: is it the same oil seal and plastic part?

This is the second or third thread on MV, that I have read recently, mentioning Malossi shocks leaking. Is this becoming an issue? Or are these all shocks with high mileage?

I would think they would have a warranty but don't know. I just emailed them and we'll see what they say. Sadly a lot of stuff is being made in China these days. Stuff is slipping through the cracks as they say. China and other countries can make quality stuff but they need to be watched. IMHO. I'll tell you what they say about the warranty. Sorry you had to go thru this. Good luck

These shocks are not made in China. They are made in Italy by a company that has been making OEM shocks for years.

Well that's good. I didn't think they were, but i mentioned China just because more things are being made there these days. They can make quality products. Just good to be aware of where stuff is made when you buy it, that's all. But a lot of things are being made in China now to keep costs down.

I am interested in knowing the outcome of this issue as I recently installed the same twins on my GTS 300. Also installed the front equivalent for the 300 ABS.

LEBO i wouldn't worry about it. I've never heard of one leaking before. It's like anything. Your gonna get a bad one. The OP might be doing something to cause them to leak (not on purpose) because i'm betting the odds of that happening are astronomical. I've been on here since "06 and been using a Malossi for 8yrs and it's never happened to me. It's like my iphone6. Got a bad one. Things happen.

No worries. I sent a email to Malossi and asked them what their warranty was on the shocks. Haven't heard back from them yet. Don't have any of my boxes anymore so i can;t see what they said.

I looked it up and wow it is vague. It says "if the warranty is good" but never tells you what the time frame is on the warranty. go to www.malossistore.com and under the contacts section do a write up on what the problem is. Do this with your mechanic. You might have to send the whole shock to them. They will supposedly check it out to determine if you'll get a new one. Sketchy warranty IMHO. Livid emoticon
