What a great looking Lambretta.
Maybe get your mate to circulate the pic to all the London Scooter clubs, like Bar Italia, Wasps, Forresters. They may spot it.
I can't believe its moped robbers as this scooter will catch the eye too much. Maybe stolen to order and ebayed or something, or for parts.
Hope they get it back and catch the scumbag who took it.

Hi all

Just finifshed some bodywork on a customers PX125.
Literally 2hrs after picking it up it was stolen in the city.
CCTV shows two fellas putting it into a van.
unusual for some chavvy f##ks to take a lammy.
Possibly an unscrulpulous scooter shop or some bonehead scooterboy wanker with a lock up.

Oh, he's probably just a poor individual from a home with a drunken father who beats him and a mother who sells herself to put food on the table.

He was just trying to add to the family income. Oops, sorry, you're talking London and I'm thinking Detroit.

It would seem that Brexit is the kind of on going issue that makes people judge others far too easily and for that reason Iíll not be visiting here very often.
Certain people have judged me and even though theyíve met me a few times in person they have decided they know all about me. Iím pro Brexit and could care less if you agree with me or not.

It was fun while it lasted.

Adios

Hello mate, how's yourself?

Scooter is being a complete arsehole when it's cold. It's taking up to a dozen attempts to start. It runs fine once started. So far I've changed the battery, spark plug, HT Cap and am running a very expensive fuel treatment through it.

I've read another thread on here where someone had the same type of symptoms and eventually a fuel line purge and a flash of the ECU got it sorted.

I think my next step is to get it plugged into a diagnostics computer. It could be fuel or it could be a sensor not sending the right info to the ECU. It it's the throttle sensor then I could be looking at a new throttle body. Not cheap

putting bacon on anything improves whatever said bacon is going on imo, so a Big Mac becomes a Bigger Mac ..

ergo, not a Big Mac

Not a major problem if the fan is turned off. If it's turned on, then the fun begins. Too bad there's bad blood here on the Skok thread as it's usually so entertaining.

Like any fight, take it outside and don't involve the innocent.

Big
Gen 1 Has a token screen which works OK but not for prolonged motorway miles but a flip up sorts that out.

Lots of room under the seat. Sportier ride. Very comfortable.

Gen 2 Screens way to big and creates turbulence no matter which position it's in.

Nice clocks. No under seat storage. Now rides like a Grand Tourer rather than a sporty scooter.

Because the screen is so big you find yourself using more throttle to push it through the air.

The Gen 1 just cuts through it.

The AK550 is such a better bike except it's £3000 more.

Not exactly, its coming up to 97k and I think I should see what is out there for the inevitable replacement.
Think I'm one scooter away from an electric one!
Could be another GTS or the Kymco or maybe an Xmax

I think many of the maxi scooters are too Maxi for my mainly filtering commute, not really needing a motorway bike at all.

Ah, I got that one figured out ---

1 bollock = 10 miles
1 mile = 1.6093 km

Simple, eh?

It's a nice looking scoot, although at the moment, keeping my X10 as it's been a very reliable ride, although in time, I'll need to move on.... Maybe back to the GTS?
