Fuel leaking from the exhaust pipe.

Opened the Carb and partly disassembled but everything looked in order. All tubes, connections seem to be right on... strange. Maybe I should totally remove it and more closely inspect.

Thought the engine was flooded.. took out plug and it was in order and sparking... suggestions?

Its definitely fuel (not condensation).... several weeks prior it kicked right up (pretty smoky but i figured it was the gas/oil mix).. now it wont start at all and the more i kick it the more gas comes out the exhaust.

Initially I thought it was because I left the fuel valve "on" but after having it shut for several days- the same effect when kicking.... gas out the exhaust (and spraying not just dripping)

Replace the needle? You could stick a paper towel in the carb mouth to see if it's dripping. If it is, then it's probably the needle or the float.

PX125 Fuel Dripping (spraying) From Exhaust
Removed and dissasembled Carb (figured cleaning and new gaskets is not a bad idea...)

the "needle" you refer to is it this (see photo)?

This piece of metal in the picture (needle?) does not move.... is that right?
is this the carb needle? is it supposed to move?

No, the needle is attached to the float.

With needles I always figure if in doubt throw it out - they are cheap. Just don't get the black tipped ones.

It doesn't move but regardless it's not the source of your prob. The tip of the needle is what stops the fuel from flowing through that carb and onto your garage floor.

This is a good start. Also wear gloves to bed. Damaged hands need serious moisturizing, so it's time to deep-treat overnight. Apply a super thick moisturizer like our Coconut Honey Mask, some jojoba oil, or vitamin E, then go soak in the bath or the sauna, or better yet, put on some cotton gloves and go to bed. You will then have the supple hands you and your bros always dreamed of.

Well- after moisturizing my hands extensively......oh yeah and getting new a new needle and gaskets...in my re-assembly of the carb, I discovered that one of the holes for the bolt that fastens the air filter is dented....I can almost screw in the bolt but didnt want to force it. Should I force it as much as possible or should I "leave" it... i.e. can the filter be OK with just one bolt... also this bolt looks kinda strange (compared to the other that looks like a "regular" bolt.
