I want to go to Amerivespa in Richmond in June.
The last rally I pult a T5 and a Smallframe in a small trailer. This time, since itís a longer drive I want to put the Smallframe in the back of my CRV and leave the T5 at home.
I put an Allstate in it a few years back, but it did have 8 inch wheels and I laid it down.
I will check to see if it fits as soon as the temperature gets above -5 here in Chicago.
Also does the Graduate hotel have free parking?

There will be free scooter parking available, and the organizers are working on truck and trailer parking elsewhere.

Other info here as well

Will the "free parking" also be usable by a support vehicle in the form of a Sportster with a sidecar? The two will fit in to one standard car parking place.

I booked a room at the Graduate. They are pet friendly! $174 per night.

I would say that is likely acceptable. Best to pose your question on the AV facebook page to be sure.

There are a couple of other hotel options in downtown Richmond just a few blocks from the Graduate Hotel. A quick internet search should provide lots of options.

hope to see lots of MV folks there!

Omni

Other options are VRBO or AirBnB... but you may have to ride in each day. How bad would that be?

It's a bit of a fluid situation, but I've got an AirBnB about a mile from the Graduate in a remodeled townhouse. A couple of us are solid, a few uncertain. Likely have some couch space (I'm pretty sure hide-a-bed), possibly a bedroom. If you're still without a room or don't have anyone to share with, drop me a p.m. Should be pretty reasonable with a 4-way split.

They did have a group rate, but I believe they don't have any more room.

Can't find it right now, but there is another hotel nearby with space that they recommend.

Having an impossible time finding shipping for my V back to the PNW from VA.

If anyone knows of anyone from up here (Portland, Seattle...anywhere!) trailering etc. back, please let me know.

Have cash, will spend.

I'm pretty sure my friend Alice has an open spot on her trailer for the trip west. She not as far north as you but it might work. I'll send her a note. Good Luck!

Any update on the trailer/truck parking? my understanding was that the City Stadium parking was no longer available and a search was on for an alternative. However, City Stadium is still shown on the Amerivespa website as a parking location. Is it back?

From the Amerivespa Facebook page.

We have secured FREE parking for your trailer located here --> https://bit.ly/2LCP6x8 . It's the grassy lot at the corner of Sherwood Avenue and Hermitage Road. Please remember to lock your vehicles/trailers. You can leave your tow vehicle there too. If you are staying at the Graduate, they have free garage parking for your scooters.

Is this in lieu of or in addition to the City Stadium parking? Maplewood Ave.
