I haven't seen it go this high. This effectively might make my GS worth a million dollars in a decade or two. I could be ok in my retirement years if I hold on to all four scooters.

Should I kidnap every delivery guy who comes to my business just in case?

Then again. Speedo? Here we'd be lucky if the lights worked?

I'm curious to see this Danish chop shop. They seem to have an unlimited supply of GS parts.

I buy pretty often from Peter, and I wonder the same. It just seems to be a limitless supply of old, high quality NOS parts. It's unbelievable. Maybe there's some kind of Vespa parts fairlyland in Denmark that only he and his band of worker elves are aware of.

It's at US$600.00 with two days left. I know it's in perfect, unopened condition, but man, that's a bit of cash for that. Wha? emoticon

That's a bit tooooooo expensive...

Anyway, Peter has been working With old scooters for decades.
And before he started only selling on Ebay, he had a full workshop restoring and selling vintage scooters.

So through the years, he has built up quite a big stock of old parts.
(turnes out to be a good Investment for him...)

That said, Peter is a good man, easy to do business with.

It's an auction, so impossible to say really that it's too expensive because whoever pays the $600+ thinks it's reasonable.

I agree about Peter. He's an incredibly fair seller and a kind, knowledgeable person. Without his parts, I would have had to settle for shitty re-pop parts to build my bikes. He's the best by a wide margin.

Well said AND doesn't he usually start stuff @ 99ยข? So I guess it's always the buyers that set these prices, not Peter.

Everything is worth what someone is willing to pay ... It is amazing to me that someone values it that much , but hey they probably have $$$s more than they know what to do with so hey why not... lol

I've bidded on items from Peter before and actually won some at a decent price.

But here's another item from another seller that's going for crazy prices.
A P rear plastic bumper bidding over $200.
