After far too much research I've worked out that I want a Galfer GLDF705...coz it looks COOL!

Yip, a Galfer GF705W will fit, but it is not as cool looking.

If I could get the Polini 175.0023, but they appear "rather more expensive" & not a lot of places stock them.

BTW: must be able to ship to Australia

I've got Galfer wave rotors on one of my bikes and they are a thing of beauty. I've also got Whoop Disks on my Vespa, and they are made by Galfer for Malossi. Galfer makes a very good brake disk. We aren't a Galfer distributor or dealer, so I can't help you, but it would be easier to find if you use Galfer's part number. The number you are using is a distributor's part number, and not the one Galfer uses. If you go to one of Galfer's websites, you can see the model numbers they use for their parts.

I don't know how cheap the Galfer disk is, but the Polini disk is less than $100 US, and I would be surprised if the Galfer is much cheaper. Given the size and weight of this thing, it shouldn't cost much more than $20 to ship one to you from the US.

Cheers for that. Looks like I'll end up with the GF705W (ex SIP, as local scooter shop has a 2-week turnaround & good pricing). After more we search it appears that the skull version appears to be N.L.A.
Having a 175/73/4mm disc (rather than 200mm) sure lowered the options. Damn this market! These ones also have 2-fork front ends rather than the common 1-fork version in most markets!
