I have come to the realization that I need to down size. Finding a good home for these bikes is more important than what I get for them and I'm not in a huge hurry to move them, but wanted people to know they are available.

The following list will be updated as things change:

In search of a good home now:
1978 Vespa 50 Special (102 kit)
1974 Vespa Rally 200 (Available)
1954 Gilera Sport 150 sold

May also consider letting go:
1963 Vespa GL 150 gone
1957 Motom 51

Details of each bike will follow

No chance you have a project Sprint in need of a good home?

nope, but why would you want a sprint when you could have a GL?

Though, I still have some big plans for the GL (that I may admit I'll never get to)

There is that...what would you want for the GL? I'll have to have it shipped, but I assume you're fine with letting ForwardAir pick it up.

Didn't SCOOTERING magazine do an article about that event a while back?

Very Nice Patrick! I'd love to see pics of the Rally and GL also. Actually, I'm interested because I've always wanted a Rally - and the GL is just a sweet looking machine.

I'm not really sure why other than the typical higher value of a GL. I sold a decent GL w/ a correct GL motor freshly rebuilt, but prefer my beat up Sprint even when it had the Bajaj 166 motor. I got good money for the GL, but the salvaged P200 motor in the Sprint now is probably worth more than the rest of it.

Seat & rack were removed and stock saddle & pillion pad were installed when sold.

Rescued Sprint, meet rescued P200 motor.

I just think the GL is a gorgeous bike... Saw one at my first rally and just fell in love with it...

Don't get me wrong, that Sprint looks pretty badass... I'd love to hear the story behind it...

I wrestle frequently with keeping the GS vs the GL, I don't need both. The GS was quirky from birth but I don't dare modify it. The GL has the quirky looks but rather pedestrian everything else, but I would not feel bad modifying the everything else.

I'm pretty darn happy about it.

It'll be the project that the Sprint is too pristine for.

Thanks, Patrick!

The rally is original paint, turn signals have been removed but wires are still there. Ignition has been upgraded to the Vespatronic with the MMW fan. Engine is stock and runs great but I also have a SERIE PRO 200 cc cylinder new in the box that will go with it.

I'm tempted to re-buy that small frame . I sold it to Patrick years ago when it was just a little 50. Would be super fun to ride now!

Patrick's GL has arrived at its new home and is already making friends with the other animals

Yes, that's snow on the ground. Get used to it in my photos for the next five months or so...

Thanks again, Patrick, for sharing your hoard with us!

I found a guy via uship. He moved it in an cargo van.

Robert G., phone # 916-220-5167, works with/as Buzz's Transport. Text him directly for best pricing.

uship tacked on about $75 in fees, so it went from $480 to $560, and he told me that uship takes 17% of the $480 from him, so cutting them out as the middle man is a win-win for everyone.
