Today is supposed to be wicked hot for VT, predicted high of 96 deg, we decided to do an early ride to have breakfast. We went to a nice little place in Pittsfield, VT which is a 20 mile one way ride. The first part is on RT 4 which is up hill and 2 lanes east bound and 1 lane west bound and a 50 mph speed limit. DW (Darling Wife) is not that comfortable on that part of the ride but getting more so as she rides more.
Anyhow I digressed. The next part of the ride is on RT 100, 2 lane, 35 to 50 mph speed limits, curvy, tree lined, parts along a stream, so that was enjoyable.
Had breakfast, then made the return trip. Sorry, not entirely epic, except for breakfast of homemade hash, bacon, eggs, home fries, rye toast, unlimited orange juice and coffee.

I went kayaking on the Charles River this morning.... too dang hot for my scootering tastes, plus my daughter was along.

But VT Route 100 PLUS the World's Best Breakfast? Sounds like a winning combination to me.

It's been bloody hot here in VA as well. Beautiful scoot and your breakfast looks delicious!

Great scoot I'm sure an awesome ride and what looks like a damn fine breakfast. Sounds awesome to me.

World's best breakfast though... Strange, couldn't find it in the Michelin guide

I'm not all that fancy but man if you ever get chance to eat at a really good restaurant what a really good professional chef can do is insane. Once in a while as a treat my wife and I will do it and once a year I treat my employees (tiny company) to a great meal. Think we're going to hire a chef for this years holiday party and have it at our place. Summer party is the Dave Matthews concert after a good meal.

Hot enough to boil a monkey's bottom here too.
