I wonder what is "New" about the Engine.
Still looks like the "Master Engine" to me, unless they did it within the ECU. Example when they added "Ride by Wire" on the 2016 Model. I hope for they did a Redesign for the "Oil Blow" ?????????? Keith, Marietta, GA |

According to the write-up, the all new design consists of a slight increase in compression. They say that this will result in a big increase in performance.
There is no mention that anything was done to help the engine lubrication. |

I don't know anyone with BV 350's with any issues. My 500 is still doing OK thank goodness, but I don't hit it Hard on the Interstate. Keeping the Miles low and using my MP3/250 for long rides so I can get some kind of Trade on the 500 if something presents itself in the future. Keith, Marietta, GA |

"higher compression ratio (11.5:1 from 10.9:1), new cam profiles, and improved flow dynamics"
Not just increased compression, but also different cams and cylinder head ports. |

"The seat, set at 31 inches above the ground, is very comfortable in combination with ergonomically well-sorted riding posture"
I find that very difficult to believe! |

I will have to go into a dealer and check it out. I find the original fuoco seat forces me into a very uncomfortable position and the ledge to the pillion seat makes it impossible to move backwards. I bought it off the previous owner because he hated the position so much.
My solution was to fit the saddle of a Habanero instead, its flat and fits into the space inside the saddle compartment and is much more comfortable. Only good if you don't take pillions regularly. Will put up a pic. |

Looks like a different airbox. No surprise, there- the throttle body looked to be north of 35 mm and the original MP3 500's fresh air inlet looked to be about 25 mm. The same airbox was used on the BV250 and the MP3 500- I know because I bought a 250 airbox to replace the one on my MP3, and it was the same plastic casting and fresh air inlet.
