Another great video from GoPam Studios.

Unfortunately, the video does not capture how difficult that road was with lots of ruts, gravel, deep sand, and just down right pain in the ass sections, which was most of it. I congratulate all of those that made through. Many gave up and turned back or did not even give it a try.
Aw thanks guys!!

Hey Lostboater - here's the link for Day 2 - Part 2. This video features you. Thanks for having my back!!

and I think it shows the dirt difficulty a little better than Day 2 part 1. Behold the dirt hill.........

RE "I wonder how those MP3s do on here [feckin' deep dusty dirt road]": where's the video of Taggart just flying past everyone on that stretch?

And fwiw, I just got in from two hours of dirt roading on the new CRF250L: three times the speed and 1/4 of the effort and none of the terror. I love you lil Vespa GT200 but I will never drag you through dirt again.

What a effing privilege to have gotten to Vespa thru Death Valley, eh? That's one of those Imma gonna remember this on my death bed things.

Day 3 part 2

Part of this video has noisy windy audio. I did my best to treat the audio to clean it up (you shoulda heard it before I did that). I debated whether to re-record narration to replace the windy audio - but I decided to leave it authentic. Dirty messy noisy cannonball style. The audio will get better later on in the video. So there it is.

Great videos gopam, you are highly entertaining!

It looks like you had a lot of fun and your vids show the effort involved by all for a successful cannonball! Looking forward to more and I subscribed to your Youtube page.

Now when I have a conundrum of sorts, I ask myself: "What would Scott Taggert do?"

For those that we're following Scooter Cannonball 2018, there was a lot of radio silence on the forums. That's because we were sooo tired and had very little time to do much of anything except sleep and prepare to ride each day. At least that was the case for me haha. So hopefully you'll enjoy this video of some of the madness and hilarity that occurred.
Great vids, gopam, I binge watched them last night and loved them all. I regret not riding along through Oklahoma... so. many. excuses.

Yay!

I can't believe you caught on film the strangest coincidence of my life -- running into Bill in the middle of nowhere.

Oh, and no Hotpocket waiting for me in ol' Bluff Utah: just a Cliff bar and two 3.2 beers and sleeping in my gear on the couch.

...after that, tho, starting on Day 4 I decided screw it and stopped each day for a real lunch, and was thus able to chart America's ethno-economic geography and dialect shift via each Subway spaced at 400 mile intervals.

What a day! Thanks tons for catching, editing and posting it!
