My plan is to swap the original engine with px series which been upgraded with 177 polini cylinder kit and keihin pwk 28, due tight budget i keep the original ignition and just reduce some of its weight

I kind of like what's left of the original paint, if that's what I see. Are you going to try to keep it? Try to get a curved kickstart lever for the PX motor if you can, like this one: https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/kickstart+lever+vbb+style+_75122000

Kick start
I use standard kick start and just bend it a little bit just enough to clear the floor board

Amazing! Very impressive. Is there a manual or S.O.P. you follow? I am starting a restoration and looking for tips.

Your bike looks great, very nice original looking paint well done. The trim, especially the floor runners, and the seat are spot on.

But that side stand on the left makes me nervous and I bet that you could knock the bike over with a feather if you park it wrong on the smallest slope.

Lots of information available but this is probably the very best place to start. Start a new topic in Not So Modern forum , with an introduction with your new project and you'll get all kinds of help. Oh and welcome to modernvespa.

Thanks man, i feel the same about the side stand, still try to find the best solution, since centre stand wont fit with right exhaust
