I haven't recieved mine yet but it's coming from New Zeland and the sender indicated that he was late getting it in the mail. No problem. Looking forward to it.

Matthew says not to worry, so I'm just going to munch on some Christmas cookies and chill a bit. All good.

What's this?

A package from New Zealand?

What could it be?

On the left is a selection of chocolate by Whittaker. Four different 100g bars. Won't last long.

Below the included note is a die cast Vespa model with a clock in the cowel. Will soon be on display.

Upper right is a bottle of Kaitia chili pepper sauce. Also from New Zealand. How did you know? I hope it's really hot.

Below that are valve caps from leukaemia & blood cancer of New Zealand.

It's all sitting on a cool Vespa wasp pillow cover.

Thanks, Tim (znomit).

It's hotter than Tabasco. Maybe because it came in a bottle larger than the Tabasco bottles that I have seen I thought I would use more. Not my best idea.

I'm glad it arrive so quickly Matthew. I have to confess I was going to get the cushion sent direct to you from doublegood/redbubble but I just had to have one myself, that's what caused the delay.

If anyone would like a set of the valve caps just PM me your address and I'll send you a pair. It's for a great cause.

Another gift exchange winding down. I hope it was fun for everyone.

There are a few left that haven't recieved thier gift for one reason or another. If you are one of those please keep me informed and post pictures when you do get it.

I have people ready to fill for anyone that gets stiffed.

You might be inclined to just let it go but I would appreciate it if you would at least let me know because it might be something as simple as an incorrect mailing address.

If the person did not mail a package I would still like to know so that person will not be allowed to participate in the future. I'm glad to say that I have had very little problem with that in the past.

You are still welcome to comment on this thread. I don't plan to have it locked.

I am still waiting for the one that is coming to me. And I know my package is due on the 31st to its destination. I apologize for the slo shipping. It would have been a lot slower if it took the tugboat trip that I was thinking about sending it on. 😆

Confirmed mine arrived at the US gathering point for New Zealand and it has had the NZ postage paid so will be here in 5-9 days.
Sent mine in November, no confirmation it has been received.

I'm down to two possibilities, but somewhat enjoying the suspense. Maybe the few of us remaining can start a support group.

Looking at it this way.....it'll be the first gift of 2019!

Haha yeah. I know I was told mine is coming from overseas and something happened to it when it was initially sent. The suspense is killing me.

As you may know, there are a few of you out there that have either not received their gift yet or have had no acknowledgement that the gift they have has arrived.

It's been a little confusing trying to keep it all straight so I'm asking all of those concerned to send me a message and update me on your current status. I will do my best to sort it out.

Thanks

Sorted on my end. Still getting one, but delayed. Things in life don't always go as planned.

What surprised me is that I was convinced I had things narrowed down to two people....but it's a third.

I bought so many of those tuktuk matchbox cars after we bought our real Bajaj 3 wheel truck. I thought they were so fun. 😆

Now Iím hoping that the one thatís coming to me will find itís way to me soon.

Sometimes... I think USPS must use a canoe to get things here.

Hmmm. One from Utah of all places. Let's have a look.

So, let's see....really cool vintage Vespa poster, scooter ornament, Lucas Slickmist spray wax†and a Marvel comic! Not being that into comics in a while, I didn't see the connection until I opened it and saw the scooter.... now I get it!
The Lucas was great timing- I'd just finished the last of a bottle I'd had for a couple of years and was in the market.

Thanks, Paddlenround. I know the Holidays were challenging for you, so appreciate you pulling this off. Some fun, useful and thoughtful things!

A lovely surprise arrived yesterday: a wonderful assortment of jams and jelly, chocolates, a cool patch and an awesome mug with a Red scooter that looks just like mine 😀

Big thanks to Madison Sully for stepping up to fill in for my Secret Santa and to Vintage Red Matthew for making it all happen!
