I sold my 79 P200, and bought a 72 Triumph. I love Vespa’s and I’ll never sell my T5, but I want to fix up this old Triumph.
1972 Tiger 650 with 4000 miles.
Wow, very cool Falcoln. I was surprised to see you sell your P200 (fair price BTW) but now I understand why. It looks like its all there. Are you just going to clean it up and make sure all systems are go?
Beautiful bike. Vespa and Triumph will be friends, they’re too old to fight now.
I had a Tiger 100 which was 500cc. Every time I stopped someone would want to chat.
I had a '71 Bonnie that looked exactly like yours. It was a really great riding bike, when it was running..... I owned it at the time the strike was going on and damn near impossible to get parts unless you paid thru the nose. While it was fun, it was not any more reliable than my next bike - a 1971 Sportster. I learned a lot about working on bikes from those two.
