I don't know if this has been shared before, but killer resource. I'm especially picky about my 1962 VBB, but like to keep the GTS and Buddy Kick in clean gas too:

Thanks BR, this may come in handy. I see the station just 1/2 mile from my place is listed. Good stuff.

Ethanol would not leave varnish, it would clean it off. Ethanol does not leave deposits, it cleans deposits out. That is why they had so much trouble in old cars, it cleaned all the crap out of the fuel system and clogged everything up. Ethanol is a GREAT cleaner, only bad thing ethanol does is,
Absorb water
Deteriorates rubber
and reduces BTU.

My snow blower has no build up with ethanol gas either. I just drain the gas every year and let it dry out completely before putting the carb drain plug or the gas cap back on.

No need to drain. Sadly itís artificially over priced priced.

In Virginia it can be a few years between uses, so I just drain the gas out to be safe.
It did not get fired up at all last year and nothing this year yet. Knock on Wood.
