I know a guy who is reproducing them. They'll be pricey, but not that much!

They started at a reasonable price. I'd assume that the seller will be reposting them after the "winner" stiffs him.

I know a bloke who had these a few decades ago. Well, not these particular ones but the same design.

Apparently they pissed in water due to the poor design and soaked everything within.

...which is similar to the time last winter that i had a set of motorcycle panniers (Hepco and Becker "Gobie cases"). Anyhow, i had them stored in my barn...apparently right underneath a small hole that was in the roof. Even though the lids were closed, i had about a gallon of water inside of the case. i mean come on, what are the chances of that?

We should do a roll call to see if it was one of us here who bought them.
My gut is telling me it was Bitza...

I don't see the vendor selling too many of those, sort of like selling rides to the ISS.

I read this about them in a FB group -

On another page, people were bidding it up to take the piss after concluding the seller was bidding on it through dummy accounts. I donít think itís a genuine sale.

He has ďsoldĒ this exact one once before for an obscene amount. I concur that itís not a genuine sale either.
